WordPress Membership Plugin
Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › Avatar?
When I create a user with this plugin it automatically creates them as a user on my wordpress users page, which is good but how do I upload an avatar on the members page so it also becomes the avatar on their user page?
Hi, the Form Builder add-on has an option to add an image profile field to the registration form. I am not sure if this field would be added to the WordPress users page profile image.
Ah okay, how can I know for sure though? I don’t want to end up paying for it if it cant do what I want..
Hi, I carried out a test and it does not merge the profile photo into WordPress users. The plugin developers will research further your request.
Thank you
Thanks! 🙂
The photo uploaded via this addon is only for this plugin. It doesn’t do anything with the WP user profile. We prefer to keep all our changes and modifications within our plugin (That way we are not affecting some other functionality on your site which can have unintended consequences).
Okay, two questions,
1. If I get the form builder add on, will I be able to upload member pictures myself if I were to add their profiles manually?
2. If so, Whats the php code I could use to “get” the WP Simple membership avatar for the specific member, as I have a page that calls on that avatar.
Thanks!
Great plugin btw!
Did this question slip through the cracks? :- x
Hi sorry about the delay. The plugin developers will reply soon. They are currently working on another issue.
Thank you for understanding.
Kind regards
No, the form builder doesn’t have that option. It only allows the member to upload their profile photo from their edit profile page.
