In our setup we have the facilty to post via Email to a unique email address and the result is the post is NOT protected and result in any and all our membership levels to view the new post.
So is there a way to automatically protect new posts in our membership categories?
Addition to this support request;
I have the Categories in SWMP protected to their relevant category level.
But as, in our case, a new Level2 post, and all new posts, still get the following;
COPY FROM THE POSTS SETTINGS, THIS IS FOR A LEVEL2 POST;
Do you want to protect this content?
(tick) No, Do not protect this content.
(no tick) Yes, Protect this content.
Select the membership level that can access this content:
(no tick) Level1
As you can see the NO box has a tick when we require the YES box to have a tick.
This results in a Level1 user being able to view the Level2 post,
We have removed the menu link to the whole Blog helps but does not cure the issue,
Once a level1 member expands a level1 post they can then scroll through the posts and get the un-protected level2 post displayed until we manually change the protecting to YES.
We would prefer NOT to have to login to WordPress Admin just to tick YES to the ‘Protect this content’.
Hi, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately at present we don’t have a feature to automatically protect a new post.
