Auto-renew on set date / payment synchronisation

Hi

We’ve moving our membership based community to use simple membership plug-in. can someone please help with the following:

Membership dues are due on 1 August. Membership can be purchased at any point in the year but will always renew on 1 August. Payment will be taken via Stripe. How can I set this up (if it is indeed possible) or would it be that an administrator needs to manually update the renewal date for each membership purchased? Thanks in advance.

You are up against 2 challenges:

1. Exporting your existing memberships into SWPM.

2. Transitioning existing subscription payments to SWPM.

Thank you! We’re actually just telling everyone to sign up again to save the hassle (moving from Wix to WP as well) but I think, it’s to do with Stripe settings and setting an anchor date.

Don’t forget to cancel any subscriptions associated with the old membership plugin, or else they will get double billed.
