Do you have any idea what is going on?
I am using the free single membership plugin now for 3 years on my website and it always worked fine (I am using version 1.3 but always updated). Lately I am having problems with making new accounts.
When I make an account for a certain membership, I add all the information and make a password. I test the password myself. The first time often it doesn’t work, so I have to go back to the dashboard and change the password and test it again.
Then I send the login details to my customer and when they want to login it doesn’t work. So I get an email that they have tried it, but that they cannot login. So I have to change the password for the 3rd time, check it again and then the customer can login.
I don’t have a clue what is going on. There are no changes on the website, so all is as it was installed in the beginning (only updates done). Could you please help?
Regards,
Miranda
Are you using any caching plugins?
Has ANYTHING about your hosting provider changed?
This is the only login related issue?
Hello,
No caching plugins.
Nothing has changed about the hoster. This website is hosted by the same provider already for 3 years. Only thing is that the php went up to the latest version. But this is already some time ago.
Yes this is the only issue.

Miranda
Does this happen “everytime,” or just “some of the time?”
It is not all of the time. One moment it is more standard than an exception. At this moment things work fine again. I am tryting to figure out if there is some sort of pattern when and why this is happening. But it feels like going to the dentist with a tooth ache and when you’re there it’s gone…. 🙁
