Hi,
How do you go about resending {activation link} out to certain members who have yet to activate their account.
I basically had a problem that is now fixed. There were a number of activation emails that did not arrive in the peoples inboxes due to the fault of the hosting company. And now obviously there showing as activation required but I’ve become stuck as to how you issue this email out again as the activation link I believe is unique.
Thanks
Saima
Use this to resend the activation link:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/regenerate-and-resend-the-unique-registration-completion-link/
I have sent this link, but it redirects the user to the Membership Join Us Page, where they must register again.
I need to regenerate the activation link.
I would like to resend the email activation to certain members as they have already registered but need to verify their email to log in to the site.
Thanks
Saima
Do they receive the email described in the Prompt To Complete Registration Email?
If they do, does the registration status go from Pending to Active, when the link is clicked?
You can ask the member to attempt logging into the site. If their account still needs activation, they’ll be shown an option to “Re-send” the activation email.
We also have a feature request on our wishlist to allow site admins to manually resend the activation email to a member.
