I created a free membership site that requires the user to be an Educator. I am using a Pre-Approved Member level for when they initially register and have the Default Account Status set to Pending. Once confirmed as an Educator, then I upgrade the user to Member. The initial Registration Complete email sends with Pre-Approved Membership, though once I change status to Active and upgrade level to Member I was expecting the Account Upgrade Notification email to send so the user knows they can access content. Why is the Account Upgrade Notification not sending? And is there some other way to accomplish this?
