Hi,
when my customers want to change their password, they recieve an email with new password, but the generated password is not working.
Are you talking about when they change their password from their profile page?
For testing purposes, can you carry out a test yourself. Can you create a test account, then change your password. Once you receive your new password, can you check to make sure the new password works. If it doesn’t then something is interfering with the password field. Do you have a cache plugin installed in your site?
Thank you
Customers in their profile page can change password, only Reset Password page / Forgot pass page is not working properly.

Sorry I don’t understand what you mean. Can you explain further your comment above.
Thank you
they mean that the users ARE able to reset their password via the “Edit Profile” page, but if they use the “forgot password” feature, where the site resets your password to a random password and sends you the password in an email – the emailed password does not work when they try to login.
(I’m on a previous release so I couldn’t do a test of 3.9.7)
