The newline character should work fine in the email as long as you are using the newline character (by using the return key) when composing the email. I test with japanese text and the email definitely works fine with this plugin.
You may have another plugin that could be messing up your email formatting. So make sure to do one test where you deactivate all plugins expect this one then do a test registration.
I have the same issue but with using English language.
I wonder if/how user Twelfe resolved their issue?
I disabled all plugins except for Simple Membership and the Form Builder add on.
No change. The email receipts (both for member and the admin notification) contained no line breaks where there should be line breaks.
I then switched to a default WordPress theme (2015) and still no change.
FYI: if I disable the Forms Builder add on and use the default form, then the default email receipt (and admin notification) appears normally with the proper line breaks.
There is a new version. You can download the latest version by clicking on the following URL re-download-the purchased add-ons.
oops. I spoke too soon. Correction: The line break issue is fixed for the Admin notification email. But is not fixed for the notification sent to the new member.
Can you create a premium support ticket in regards to the issue you are having with Form Builder add-on.
