I am trying to create a blog post that uses the Read More Tag.

The post has a small image and then some text and then one more image. In between the text and the second image is the More Line. I have the plugin and the setting is activated. The problem is all you see is the page is protected, log in. I would like to see the pic and unrestricted text in the blog page then when the client clicks on the post to see it, the you must be a member to view.

Hi, can you read the following documentation. Then report back with your findings.

    Thank you

I deactivated all my plugins as instructed in the tutorial. Nothing changed. I then picked a default WP theme. No changes. I then deactivated the plugins within Temporary theme. No changes. I even picked the original theme instead of the child theme. No changes.

Hi, this is very strange because I have it working on my test environment and just now I carried out another test. Can you check to make sure you have added the following tag <!--more--> in your page or post?

If you have the more tag added to the above post or page can you create a test page, add some text and then add the more tag in between the text. Carry out a test and let me know how you go.

    Thank you

The problem seems to have been with the Page Builder program (Page Builder by SiteOrigin (ThinkUpThemes compatible). When I copied the text to the regular editor the Read More tag worked just fine.

I am glad you found what the problem is.
