ParticipantHello again. Thanks to your answer I was able to choose the option to verify by email every time a new user registers, however, it doesn’t work. I have chosen my free level and marked the checkbox to enable email activation for that level.
However, when a new subscriber registers, he receives a welcome email, and does not receive the email requesting verification. As an administrator I immediately see him as a new member. Honestly I have read all the documentation, everything seems so simple and I can’t get it to work.

ModeratorFirstly, please turn on the debug logs. We need to know if the activation emails are being sent.
Now then, did you follow ALL of the instructions? The instructions say to also setup the activation email message, AND to ensure proper sending of the email from your server, per the instructions and also:

ParticipantHello, I think I have discovered my problem.
I have Woocommerce installed, configured to send a welcome email. It’s just that mail sent to the new user! I have already disabled it.
Now when a new user registers, the page warns that an email was sent to activate your account, but the mail never arrives (when I had configured the message from woocommerce the mail arrived).
could there be any conflict with woocommerce? I see there is an woocommerce addon, but I’m afraid I’m doing something wrong and my store will be affected.
