From my Simple Membership::Payments backend, a few of my paid-up members are shown as ‘subscription created’, but not ‘Completed’.

The profiles of all these members show account status:’Active’, correct membership level, and a Subscriber ID/Reference. But some of them are reporting an inability to access protected posts. They’re prompted to subscribe.

When I submit their ID’s to generate a completion link I get a link like this:
    https://mywebsite/wordpress/directory/registration-form/?member_id=18&code=

This takes me to a completely unfilled registration form.

Should there not be something after &code=
or does this mean these members are already activated?
If so, why are they not shown as Status Completed?

I would be grateful for any suggestions and thanks again for the great plugin.

Are you using any page caching plugins, server caching modules, or CDN services?

    No, none.

I believe I’ve sorted the issue with the paid subscribers who were unable to access protected content.

I still wonder why some are shown as ‘subscription created’, but not ‘Completed’. and how that might affect their subscriptions going forward.

I’m assuming the ID regeneration code didn’t work because those members are already active (albeit not shown as Status Completed).

Unless you have the debug logs turned on… it’s really difficult to diagnose the issue. Please turn on the debug logs, and attempt to process a registration or payment. Then check the logs to see if everything is ok.

OK, thanks for the suggestion, but I think the accounts that do not show status ‘Completed’ were created when my buttons were not set to use PayPal’s new API.
