    Hello,

My members are not getting set-up after joining a membership level. This has started happening since I set up a 1 week free trial period.

I have just run a test and the payment was successful, but no new member has been created and they didn’t receive the registration link.
Is this something to do with the free trial?

    Thank you!

Hi, please check the following documentation. Let me know which method are you using to create your trial period?

    Kind regards.

    Thanks for your reply!

I created a 7 day trial as part of a paid subscription, not as an extra membership option.
The paid membership was already up and running before I started the trial.

Please create a new 7 day trial subscription and then report back with the outcome. Make sure you follow the instructions above.

    Kind regards.

Do you mean a separate 7 day trial that would then end and the customer would have to sign-up to the paid account afterwards?
Ideally I want the 7 day trial to automatically lead to a paid subscription.

I am referring to using Method 1 Offering a Free Trial Period Using a Subscription Payment from the instructions above. This is related to your comment below.

The paid membership was already up and running before I started the trial.

    Kind regards.

That is how I set this free trial up. I added a 7 day free trial to a paid subscription, as per method 1 in the instructions.

What did you mean by the following statement?

The paid membership was already up and running before I started the trial.

    Kind regards.

So… I created a payment button for a membership called The Style Sancturay” which is an £8.99 monthly subscription and I use Stripe to manage payments.
The client then decided that they wanted to have a 7 day free trial at the beginning of the subscription, so I followed the steps in step 1 to edit the payment button to include a 7 day free trial.

But for many people, when they sign up they aren’t getting the registration email.

So instead, if I add the registration link on the thank you page, can I stop the registration email from being sent and instead have a “you’ve registered” email?

    Thanks 🙂

Thank you for clarifying further your issue.

Did you make the changes before any transaction was carried out? Or did you make the changes after one or more transactions was carried out?

But for many people, when they sign up they aren’t getting the registration email.

For any email related issue, please try the following troubleshooting steps.

Please read the following documentation regarding the registration process for our plugin. This will help you understand how our plugin processes the paid registration process.
