Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › Stripe SCA only using Stripe hosted checkout page?
I am in the US, so I guess I can just use the legacy setup, but just wondering if the only option for the plugin on SCA mode is to us the Stripe checkout that is hosted by Stripe, taking the user off the website?

Yes, I already looked at the docs, but my question is why the SCA version works like PayPal button?
Sends you to Stripe website with a form and then kicks you back to the website. Why doesn’t it works the same as the traditional button, where it runs directly on the website.
Yes, those are the only Stripe options within our plugin.
As an alternative, you can try the following Stripe plugin integration (which has a payment popup implementation that is also SCA compatible):

We use the Standard Stripe checkout option in our plugin. The ongoing API related code maintenance required for the other Stripe implementation is beyond the scope of our simple plugin at this stage. The following page will offer some explanation regarding our resource limitation:
