[Support request] Set membership level on registration page?

    My registration page shows Free as the membership level and I can’t find how to change it to Paid. How to I edit that form? Can someone help? Also, when completing the form I get neither a “success” or “fail” notice, the page just reverts back to the default. Is that correct?

    Yes, that helps. My issues were related to using the Stripe Payment plugin in addition to yours. The reason I wanted SP is that with theirs I can accept donations as well as paid memberships. I’ve yet to figure out if/how I can do that with yours. Can I? If so, I’m in and will buy a few add-ons, if not I’ll probably have to go elsewhere. I’d pay for a donations add-on.

    I figured it all out, THANK YOU! I will be buying some add-ons just to support your.

    One question though regarding the link to the /become-a-member/membership-registration page. Once they have the link to that page what stops them from entering multiple registrations? I know they can’t reuse an email addess but what if the same person registers with different names and email addresses? How can we prevent that?

    Hi,

    This would be very challenging to control because the person is registering with different names and email addresses. However, you could use the Form Builder addon. Add extra fields that are required to the registration form. For example: Address, phone etc. This would complicate things for the person registering because they would have to falsify the address, phone number per account. Unless they use the same address and phone number which then you could choose to investigate further the registration, if a person registered 3 times using the same address, phone number etc.

    The above is one way that might help you control this.

    Another addon you could use for login security purposes if that concerns you a lot, is swpm-two-factor-authentication.
