Tagged: Add Member, email, setting
I’ve set up my system so new registrations done by prospective members are set to status “Pending”. The new member gets an email saying that “registration is being processed” and the administrator gets an email saying that “a new member registration is waiting to be processed”.
Now, in the same installation, if the administrator adds a new member using the “Add Member” option in the backend, the same two emails are being sent, even with the status set to “Active” (if the administrator is creating a new member, no need to confirm it.
What do I need to do (if at all possible) to change the email delivery for the “Add Member” option so the new member gets an email saying “your account has been created and ready to use” with all the information he/she needs (URL, username, password) and the administrator doesn’t get any email?
Hi, check the following documentation https://simple-membership-plugin.com/manually-adding-members-site/. Let me know if this helps you.
Thank you
