Does anyone have a link or directions for this?
I’ve been searching for a solution, closest I’ve come was a logout link for members,
Someone clicks login and signs in, it’ll show log out now, and vice versa.
Thank you in advance.
Would dynamic menus solve this?
Login > dynamic menu changes menu item from login to logout?
Please explain, in detail, what you are wanting to happen; when a member logs in.
So a member goes to the website, clicks on the “login” menu item on the navigation, this takes them to the login page which they log in and are re-directed to the members’ page.
Once they log in, that login button is now a logout button on the menu, and once clicked, will log them out and take them to the home page.
The only thing I can’t seem to figure out or find is when they are logged in, having the “login” menu button go to “logout”.
If the Dynamic menu add-on will fix this issue, I’d gladly pay for it.. I would like it resolved regardless.
The Dynamic Menus Addon does not include a “not logged in” menu condition. I will consult with the developer to see if this can be added.
Hi,
in case like this I use “Nav Menu Roles”. This plugin should allow to show login item for users not logged in and vice versa.
regards
Is there an update to this ticket? A login button that changes to logout would be a real plus for this otherwise very useful plugin. Any plans to create one? Or let us know how to get one?
