I had a user sign up with a username, example: fakename!!!
When he tried to log in, there was an error screen with:
“This error is triggered when a member account doesn’t have a corresponding WP user.”
When I checked the SM account, the username was indeed: fakename!!!
However, the corresponding WP user account only had: fakename
… the exclamation points were stripped out and so the two usernames did not match up, hence that error.
I did not test it again, but it looks like either you need to restrict the username to not have those kind of characters on signup, or pass those characters through.
I told the user to signup again with a different username, so not an issue for me but wanted to let you guys know.
Hi, do you have the Form Builder addon installed in your site?
No
We will investigate this. Thank you.
