is it possible to add a link in the email that admin gets to login to approve the new user.. something along the lines of:
A new member has completed the registration.
Username: username
Email: emailaddressPlease login to the admin dashboard to view details of this user.
You can customize this email message from the Email Settings menu of the plugin.

- Because manual approval is an “all or nothing” affair,” there would be no need to know the new member’s account name or email address in the email; just that 1 or more members need to be approved.

- If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty with a wee bit of PHP coding; you can use an “Action Hook” to detect when a member has registered, and then fire off an email to the Admin:
