Hi
I just wanted to test my website, after not getting any new subscriber since a long time, and here is what happens:
Whatever username I try to chose, no matter how long, it always says “*invalid username”
Can you fix the issue asap? I guess I missed a lot of subscribers in the meantime 🙁
Hi, can you provide more information regarding your issue? For example what have you done so far to troubleshoot your issue? Are you talking about a free membership or a paid membership?
Well, there is nothing I can do about that.
I tried a lot of random usernames, there is no way to get registered.
If potential users have to create a special username, I don’t know what, maybe with some special characters, this should be included in the error message. People will not try let’s say more then twice. If it doesn’t work, they will quit the page, it’s too frustrating.

First pleas try the following troubleshooting steps.
Do you have a cache plugin installed in your site? If you do can you clear the cache and then disable the cache plugin. Then carry out a test.
Let me know how you go.
Regards
I cleared cache and deactivated my caching plugin.
Same result. Whatever I enter for username, instantly it shows a red warning “invalid username”
Can you carry out the following test. Can you register a new test member. Then try to log in? Make sure Debug mode is enabled. Once you perform this test, can you then check the log files.
Thank you
