    Hi,

    I’ve installed SWPM and successfully set-up member levels, added members and all is working fine 🙂

    I am considering installing the bbPress add-on and have a question re functionality, example below:

    Member logs into my site using SWPM (example login name FredBloogs)
    Same member goes to the bbPress forum
    Same member creates a topic or replies to a topic

    Questions:
    Does the member have to log in to the bbPress forum (even though the member has already logged in to the site via SWPM)?
    Is the members username (FredBloogs) put against the topic or topic reply?
    Can the member that created the topic or reply delete the topic (or reply)?
    Can images be attached to a topic or reply?

    Hi Trev, I myself don’t use bbPress but my understanding is that the members need to belong to a membership level that has access to the forum post you have protected. If they don’t then they will see a message that the post is private.

    What do you mean by the following question?

    Is the members username (FredBloogs) put against the topic or topic reply?

    In regards to the following questions. Are these questions related to bbPress or Simple Membership Plugin?

    Can the member that created the topic or reply delete the topic (or reply)?
    Can images be attached to a topic or reply?

    Hi, Many thanks for the help. I understand what you said re membership levels.

    My questions were related to bbPress: a bbPress topic or reply to a bbPress topic that FredBloogs posts.

    I have used forum’s myself in the past and have a rough idea how they work but wanted to check the bbPress functionality before I purchase/install.

    Any help much appreciated 🙂

    Hi, I understand what you mean. Unfortunately I don’t use bbPress so I really cannot answer the bbPress questions. Your best bet is to ask in the bbPress forum. Just keep in mind that this plugin Simple Membership controls who can view the bbPress forum via Membership Levels. It does not in any way control the bbPress functionality.
