Recently we have had trouble with the Notify User option on our member profiles. They don’t appear to have been sent, at least they are not receiving them. The admin is receiving emails when a new member has registered. An email is also successfully sent when the member registers. She goes in and approves the member and then clicks on the “Notify User” option. The option says “You can use this option to send a quick notification email to this member (the email will be sent when you hit the save button below).” The only button I see is the “Edit user” button which I assume is the Save button. The email settings have not been touched in months and the admin email is correct. This issue has only been noticed in the last month.
Hi, please first check the following troubleshooting tips. Lets see if they help you.
Kind regards
I checked all the suggestions on those troubleshooting tips. The email has failed to send to multiple email servers and does not show up in SPAM. The plugin is successfully sending notification email to our administrator when a membership is submitted. It is failing when sent after clicking on the “Notify User” option. we did a test where our administrator posed as the member. She registered and was a form was submitted. she then clicked on “notify User” and didn’t get the email. In this test case the email address that she sent to was the same. And one made it to her and the other didn’t.
The Debug option is turned on and is not showing an error.
Please advise. Thank you for your help
