ParticipantHi. i have WPML installed for a Greek/English website at http://alltestd.com/winmedica.
What happens is: I open the .po file of the plugin.
Most of the greek translations I need for the front end part (login form, logged-in fields) are translated. Some were not. I did them. But the translations are not shown when I am in Greek. It still shows the English texts

What is the solution?
Same thing happens with Form Builder Pro.
Some fields of the form I made stay in English while the error messages are not shown in Greek/English cases. Only in English.Solution?

ModeratorHi do you have the latest plugin version installed? Did you follow these instructions to translate the plugin?
September 9, 2015 at 3:12 pm #3001channeld
ParticipantHi. Thanks for the reply.
I have the latest versions of all plugins installed in the system. I mean by following the update alerts I see in wp admin.
Yes I have seen the instructions. Most were translated but some were not. So I edited the .po file and created them.
I re-uploaded the .mo file but nothing happened.
So, the case is that even the existing translations were not shown per language. Everything (even know) is shown in English only.September 9, 2015 at 11:04 pm #3003mbrsolution
ModeratorThank you for reporting back. It might be an issue between this plugin and WPML? Have you reported this to the WPML developers?

ParticipantYes I did. No reply yet. But it is not possible not to have WPML in a multilingual website. So what is the solution?

ParticipantI really do not understand your answer.
Let me rephrase my question…I use your plugin and the form builder.
Greek translations for the login form, for the form error messages (like: this field is required) or password retrieve form are NOT shown. The translation is there. I checked the .mo/.po files. They just do not show in Greek. They only show in English.
So what is the solution?September 17, 2015 at 7:31 am #3104mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, sorry for not understanding your question correctly.
I have checked the Greek translated po file. Apparently it is only 39% translated. The fields you mentioned above are probably not translated that is why they show in English and not in Greek. If you would like to translate the plugin please follow these instructions.
Let me know if you need more help.
Regards

ParticipantI have no problem translating it.
These instructions mention a POT file…
However there is a PO file and MO file for Greek. So shall I use the greek PO file and then compile it to greek MO?
Since I have done that and is not working…
Also the fields I want are not mentioned in that file. Here are the fields I want…
Please point me to the correct files where these are included. I have waisted days trying to solve this out.—- Login Form generared from shortcode—

I have made the greek version of this form. However on submission, when there are empty fields that are required the system (in Greek) shows this error: “This field is required”.
Where is that phrase to translate it in its Greek equivalent? I cannot find it.September 17, 2015 at 12:01 pm #3110mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, carry out the following. Open up Poedit, through poedit open up the greek file. Once you have it open on the top menu of Poedit click on Catalog and then click on Update from Pot file…locate the Pot file and that should do it. This will update the current greek po file with the latest in the Pot file. You should find all the fields you mentioned above.
Let me know if this helps you.

ParticipantI did all that. Still in Greek it shows English text!
Check here http://alltestdomain.com/winmedica/eisodos-melvn/
and here http://alltestdomain.com/winmedica/eisodos-melvn/epanekdosi-kodikou/
It is like this translation file is ignored!September 18, 2015 at 12:06 am #3117mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, I just checked the Spanish translation and I can confirm that it does work. When you create or edit the po file, do you save your settings using Poedit? Do you then copy the Greek files po and mo to your live server? Do you then refresh the browser to make sure the new settings are displayed?

ParticipantHi. I have done all that you mention. Nothing is happening!!!

ParticipantMost of the primary language texts (english) are not in the pot file either!!!
Can you provide a correct language file and how to use it or not?September 23, 2015 at 4:45 pm #3230channeld
