ModeratorHi, where did you change the settings for your own domain and title?
January 14, 2016 at 3:13 am #4846hprajapati
ParticipantWe add our own email and title under the Email Misc. Settings: http://s10.postimg.org/rkpyq5jft/Screen_Shot_2016_01_11_at_10_24_30_PM.png

ModeratorHi, do you have any other plugin that might over ride this setting?
January 15, 2016 at 12:59 am #4860hprajapati
ParticipantNo. We never did that, have you guys tested that out yet?

ModeratorHi, I just carried out a test. I added a new user with Free Membership level access, I also included the first name and last name fields. I went to the front of my testing site and requested the change the password link. I then received the e-mail and no WordPress was added anywhere in the e-mail.
I did however find out that if you add a user without a first name and last name then you do get the WordPress added to the password reset e-mail.
But in either case whether you add a first name or not to the user in the confirmation notice of change e-mail you do get the WordPress name.
The plugin developers will look further into this issue.
Thank you

KeymasterThat other email comes from the core WordPress code (since the WP user password was changed). We will add a tweak in the plugin so only the email from this plugin is sent for the password reset notification (it will stop the WordPress’s default password reset email from going out).

Moderator@DaninFL what Simple Membership version do you have installed in your website?
February 23, 2016 at 10:15 pm #5388DaninFL
ParticipantI am using:
Simple WordPress Membership Version 3.1.8
Simple Membership Custom Messages Version 1.3
Simple Membership After Login Redirection Version v1.2February 23, 2016 at 10:29 pm #5389mbrsolution
ModeratorThank you for reporting back. Are you still having this issue with the e-mails settings?
February 23, 2016 at 10:38 pm #5391DaninFL
ParticipantYes, it continues to happen only with the auto-generated email to a member who reset his/her password. Emails auto-generated for all other reasons seem to be okay.
The auto-generated email I’m referring to has the subject line “Notice of Password Change.” That email continues to come from “WordPress <wordpress@mydomain.com>”. Fortunately, I have a catch-all email address with my domain so if the recipient replies to that message I still receive it, but I would prefer to have the auto-generated appear with our name instead.

ModeratorThank you for reporting back. The plugin developers are investigating this request further.

KeymasterThe plugin stops WordPress from sending user’s password reset notification to admin. However, WordPress still sends the default password reset email to the user.
You can use a plugin like the following disable the core WordPress’s password reset email:
