CSV Import Error

I am trying to import membership into WP. I have taken the downloadable spreadsheet, but added in the additional columns apparently necessary for it to work, now. I have tried the provided spreadsheet with and without the extra columns. I am on a mac and using pages to open the spreadsheet. I export to CSV. I use text edit to verify the csv contents look correct. However…

I am getting a repeated error message “This is not a valid csv extension”. Although if I check the uploads in WP the uploads do process.

Suggestions, Please?

Hi, unfortunately I don’t use a MAC system. But you could try the following. Can you try to import a different csv file? But this time don’t use a text editor to verify the file.

Try the above and see how you go.

I did try that and receive the same error. I don’t like Microsoft but I am going to download excel and see if that makes a difference.

Still an issue…can import from CSV to WP to Simple Membership, but not directly from CSV to Simple Membership.
