Having trouble with the “Set Status to Active & Notify” dropdown option. The email body does not dynamically fill in the {first_name}, {last_name}, {first_name}, {user_name}, {password} tags.

Other notifications such as creating a new user or editing individual users and notifying them will fill the dynamic values in.

I’ve de-activated and deleted the files then uploaded them again and re-activated the plugin, but still have an issue.

    Please advise.

Hi, can you deactivate all other plugins except this one then carry out another test?

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

The only other plugin I have active is SWPM Partial Protection. But with that deactivated, it still doesn’t work.

Hi, I have submitted a message to the plugin developers to investigate further your issue.

    Thank you

That email is sent in batches for performance reasons. This works out better if you have a lot of members (over time a site will have a lot of users). The usual email tag filtering is not performed on these emails as the same email message is sent to many users in one go.

So for these emails you have to use an email message/body that is generic and applies to any member. Don’t use personalized email shortcodes/tags like {first_name} in this email.

Do you plan on integrating email tag filtering for the bulk notify anytime soon?
