Default Email Settings Values (Resetting Email Settings)

If you have accidentally deleted the text(s) from the Email Settings menu of the plugin then the information on this page will help you to re-configure some of those values.

If you are looking to start fresh and re-configure the email settings menu, you can start by copying and pasting the default email texts used in various different “email body” fields.

Also, check the available email merge tags documentation that can be helpful to further customize the email settings.

Email Settings (Prompt to Complete Registration)

The following is the default email body text used in the Prompt to Complete Registration email settings field:

Hi {first_name},

Thank you for joining us!

Please complete your registration by visiting the following link:

{reg_link}

Thank You

Email Settings (Registration Complete)

The following is the default email body text used in the Registration Complete email settings field:

Hi {first_name},

Your registration is now complete!

Registration details:
Username: {user_name}
Password: {password}

Please login to the member area at the following URL:

{login_link}

Admin Notification Email

The following is the default email body text used in the Admin Notification Email Body field:

A new member has completed the registration.

Username: {user_name}
Password: {password}
Email: {email}

Please login to the admin dashboard to view details of this user.

You can customize this email from the Email Settings menu of the plugin.

Email Settings (Password Reset)

The following is the default email body text used in the Password Reset email settings field:

Hi {first_name},

We received a request to reset the password for the following account:

Username: {user_name}

To reset your password, please visit the following link:

{password_reset_link}

If you did not request a password reset, you can safely ignore this email.

The following is the default email body text used in the Account Upgrade Notification email settings field:

You can now login to the member area.

The following is the default email body text used in the Subscription Payment Canceled or Expired email settings field:
