ParticipantHi,
I downloaded the google recaptcha plugin and activated it, I registered my domain at google and have the api keys, and I have in a folder in my computer the swpm-recaptcha php files but I don’t know where to install them in order to activate it in the simple membership plugin addons directory. Right now there is no option for that add on in the directory.
I know I’m missing a step, but being new to all this is my weakness right now.
Thanks for any help.

ModeratorHi, I am not really following your question above. Did you install the reCAPTCHA addon in your website? If you did, did you following the following instructions?

ModeratorHi, to install those addons from your computer all you have to do is go to Plugins -> Install Plugins. Then click on Add New button. Once you click on Add new button, click on Upload Plugin. Then click on Choose File button. Start searching for your addon in your computer and then click on Install Now button. That is how simple it is to install the addons.
Let me know if you need more help.
Regards

ParticipantHello,
Thank you. The instructions you gave were close but a little different on my menu. I did the following:
I downloaded the zip file and saved it, I did not unzip it like I did the first time.
Then I clicked on “Plugins” on the dash board, then clicked on “Add New”. At the top of that menu there is a link to “upload plugin” next to the “Add Plugins” title. Once you click on that, it tells you that you can upload a zip file. So I browse to the zip and upload, it installs and I activated it. Done.
Sometimes I expect things to be much more complicated than they actually end up being.
Again, thanks so much. I checked out a bunch of log in plugins for these features, and your suggestion ended up being the one I needed.
