Hi all
This has been working great for months
Im using Beaver builder and needed to make a change due to paypal account change
Now im suddenly getting />\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ before any payment buttons
Doesnt matter if I use the shortcode in a beaver module or in a typical post, im still getting it.
Any ideas appreciated.
Not i have tried creating a new button, same thing…
Each time the button is clicked the number of \\\\\\\ grows
as the charcters get longer occasionally it changes from \\\\\\\\\\\\\ to \\\\\ >\\\\
Ok ive narrowed it down its the simple membership affiliate plugin thats causing it.
When i activate it i get the problem
when i deactivate it , its back to normal
Any ideas why?
It appears the affiliate addon has broken the functionality of the membership plugin..
Which leaves me in a real problem…
help required by the sellers of the affiliate plugin pls.

Hi so it was being caused by the WP Affiliate plugin recommended in the addons area
I now have a few secondary issues
When i try to do things like generate a code inthe simple membership area it doeesnt work
Im also trying to change paypal email addresses and i can get the original one to work, but not the new one, using the exact same setting. Yes i have activated ipn and directed it at my url…
The payments are going thru and paypal is sending an ipn, but the website log is not collecting it from the new paypal aaccount.
