Tagged: backend, buddypress, can't access, dashboard, hide dashboard
I’ve just installed BuddyPress and set it up but wanted to keep part of it for logged in members (by invite only) so installed Simple membership. All seemed good in the hood until I chose to hide the dashboard – now when I log into my WordPress site as usual i can only access the frontend of my site/buddypress site! What have I done wrong?
I can access the dashboard another route, so no major wobbly, but don’t understand what I should have done to allow admin access still to my WordPress site? Or does it just not work with BuddyPress, and that’s the problem??
All help much appreciated. Cheers.
Are you maybe logged into the site as a member that doesn’t have admin permission? Go to the membership plugin’s login page and logout.
