I’ve had the MailChimp addon installed for a while now, but I’m getting some “inconsistent” results. Periodically I go through our newest member profiles on our website and cross-check with MailChimp, and quite a few aren’t showing up in MailChimp. Do you think that’s strictly due to those members not clicking the link in the confirmation email from MailChimp? Is there a way to see a list of those users? And if that is the issue, is there a way to remove that double opt-in requirement (given that they’ve already registered on our site and this extra step is likely just tripping them up)?
Hi, yes I am certain that it is because they forget to click on the link sent via the confirmation e-mail. In some cases it might even be that they don’t receive the confirmation e-mail. The double opt in is part of MailChimp service. Perhaps you can speak to MailChimp to see if there is a way to disable that feature.
