Tagged: custom type, default protection
Hi
I have a custom post type and it works well with your system – but the user keeps forgetting to set “protect” … is there a way I can set the default for this custom post type to be “protect” (wit ha specified user level) rather than the default always being unprotected?
I’d also need it to protect attachments to those posts.
If there is no plug-in/add-on, is there a code interface to “add protection” to a post that I could call after the post-update action?
Many thanks
Hi unfortunately there is no option available or add-on for the function you require. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.
Thank you
We don’t have an option like that.
We only have the following custom post type protection addon:

Ok, thanks … if the developers want to add things to their “possibles list” then I would say two options
1. Protect this AND all its attachments
2. Set default protection per post type
All the best, great plug-in!
