Howdy,
Purchased the bbPress add-on for Simple Membership believing that it would allow for easy management of users of both. Ideally I thought that when a user was created via Simple Membership (or vice versa) that a profile would be created and could be managed for both. In other words, if an existing bbPress member existed, enabling the add-on would give them a login from the Simple Membership plugin. If a Simple Membership users was created, that would create an existing profile for bbPress.
So far that doesn’t seem to be the case, unless there’s a crucial step I’ve missed. If there is a way to create this set up please advise.
Hi, When using Simple Membership, our plugin needs to handle the user login and registration process. You can import your existing WP users or BBPress users via the following addon:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/import-existing-wordpress-users-simple-membership-plugin/
Then they can all log in from the simple membership plugin’s login page (and see a consistent behavior).
Let me know if that works for you.
