ParticipantHi.
I liked your simple membership and form builder, but after installing Cornerstone I am getting problems:
!: the sign-up form does not show up on my my page when the Plug-in “From builder” is activated.
2: When deactivating the From Builder only the default sign-up form appears – regardless of what shortcode I use.Take a look at my stage-site where the Form Builder plugin is activated: http://stage.adventuresincaring.org/membership-registration/
And my main site where the Form Builder is deactivated: http://www.adventuresincaring.org/membership-registration/
To add to the confusion the Form Builder itself does not allow me to create a new form, nor edit existing ones.
Can you help?

ModeratorHi, in regards to your comment.
To add to the confusion the Form Builder itself does not allow me to create a new formAre you saying that when you try to create a new form the Form Builder add-on produces an error? Or it does not allow you to save the new form?
What do you mean by.
nor edit existing ones.
You might like to read the following documentation about the Form Builder add-on.

ParticipantI am saying that the Form Builder does not function. It does nothing when I click on fields to add to the form. I cannot edit existing forms, add or remove fields.
As mentioned, having it activated also removes it from my page.

ModeratorDid you read the documentation I mentioned above.
When you try to add a new field did you left click with your mouse once or twice? For example to add a new field all you have to do is left click with the mouse and the field will appear in the form.
If you have tested the above and nothing happens, can you carry out this test. Disable all your other plugins except this plugin and the Form Builder add-on. Can you try and add new fields to the form and or try to edit some of the fields.

ParticipantWhen disabling ALL my 21 enabled plugins I am able to do editing in the form Builder. Add and remove most fields, but I still do not see the form on my page.
Over…

ModeratorOkay that is good news, at least now we know that you have a conflicting plugin somewhere. First lets find out which plugin is causing this issue. Start enabling all the other plugin one by one and at the same time carrying out a test until you find out which plugin is causing the conflict.
Then we can focus on why your forms are not appearing. Did you read the documentation above?

ParticipantHang on…
I disabled all plugins, then enabled them one at a time while testing the Form Builder.
Now I have both the form builder and the right form showing on the page.Hmmm.
I don’t know what was wrong, but it’s working now, so I’ll try to do the same on the real site.
Hold your breath…Will report…

ParticipantThe problem was not with the other plugins but rather with the other forms I had worked on in the Form Builder. Perhaps you can only have one form leading to a particular level of membership. When I deleted the forms that were not working, the problem cleared up.
Thanks for your attention and wanting to help.
You did.Bent.

ModeratorI am happy to hear you solved your issue 🙂
In regards to your comment.

Yes that is correct, you can only have one form per level created.

ParticipantI have the site working now, but I am still wondering how things work.
When – on my stage-site – I start fresh to make a New Form, the Form Builder does not show any “Fieldset” containing “Username”, “Your Password”, “Your Email” and “Prove your Humanity” – only a blank white field. And again, I can’t add anything by clicking on any of the Form Fields.
I deleted all the forms to try from scratch at my test site, not the main one, so my site still works, but I would love to know what I’m doing wrong.
Sorry – I thought all was working.

ModeratorNo problem, if you read the documentation that I shared above it explains everything about Form Builder add-on.

ParticipantWell.
I have read your info, thanks for the link, and when following the New Form creation procedure: 1= New Form, 2= On Form List click “Form Name” to edit. I get the page as in your “Step 4”, but without the “Field Set”, “Verification” and such – only a blank space. I can’t drag or click any of the Form Items either.
Perhaps I should try deactivating some plug-ins.
Thanks for hanging in there…

ModeratorWhen you create a new form, each form has a unique ID. Are you adding the correct form shortcode to your website?
You can try disabling all your other plugins. See if this helps you as well. But remember that each form you create has a unique ID.

ParticipantI was talking about the From Builder itself – I just get a blank field, no “Field Set” i.e. space to create a user name, email and Capcha.
I can’t click-on any Form Fields either.
Try disabling the other plugins?

ModeratorOkay, let me know how you go with disabling all other plugins.
