InactiveHow do I enforce strong passwords when registering. I just had someone register with username rose and password rose. I have changed it and notified her, but this puts my website and server at risk when people can do this.
In my WordPress settings I have ticked to enforce strong passwords but it obviously doesn’t work with Simple Membership registration.

ModeratorHi Mary the WordPress Users password is not related to the Simple Membership password. I will send a message to the developers in regards to your question.
Thank you

ParticipantHi, was this issue resolved? I have just installed the simple membership plugin and spent a lot of time configuring everything to work as intended, but then found that there is no way to set minimum password requirements. So after all this effort to protect my content, my users could register with password:password!!
Is an addon available to address this?
Or do any of the other plugins integrate with simple membership rather than just being concerned with wordpress accounts?
thanks

ParticipantHi, thanks for responding. Does this manage password requirements? I cant see any mention of it in the product overview. I certainly have no need for custom forms so wouldnt be buying it for any other reason
many thanksFebruary 19, 2018 at 9:39 pm #13418mbrsolution

KeymasterWe ended up adding an option for this in the advanced settings menu of the main plugin (that worked out better).
Please upgrade the plugin to the new version and you will be able to use this feature. You will need to empty your cache after the upgrade so it forces the new JS file to load.
