ParticipantI am currently using the Form Builder addon for a registration page within the Simple Membership plugin. One of the default fields is the address field. How do you modify the fields under the address element, including the address, city, state, etc. Can you change the headings or delete the 2nd address field. Also how do you move the wording of the 2nd address, city, state and country up under the appropriate space? They are shown at the top of the next field.

ModeratorDid you add the second street address field yourself? In every field that is added in the form when you open the field for editing, towards the end of the field you will see a delete button.
In regards to your question below.
Also how do you move the wording of the 2nd address, city, state and country up under the appropriate space?
Can you explain further what you mean or better still create a screen capture pointing out what you are trying to achieve.
Thank you

ParticipantI did not add the second street address field in the form. All the fields are there by default when you create a registration form and/or select an address element. The attached screen shot of the site shows the front end issues.
Blue Arrow – all the fields that are there by default.
Red Arrows and box – the need to move up the letters so it is clear which box they relate toOn the second attachment, I have shown that there is limited flexibility to change the default fields of an address element. You can only specify the default country.

Thank you.

ModeratorI just carried out a test. I created a new Paid registration form and added an address field. I was able to edit and manage all the labels in the new field added and the option to delete the field. I was also able to manage the other default fields as well but you cannot delete the default fields.
The default fields added by the add-on are.
- User Name
- Password
- Membership Level
What version of the Form Builder add-on do you currently have installed?

ParticipantI am using Form Builder, Version 4.1. I recently purchased and installed it. I cannot edit any of the fields within the Address element. I am using a Free Registration. Would that make a difference for the Address element?
What about the label formatting alignment issue?

ModeratorThat should not make a difference whether it is a Free membership or paid membership level when using the Form Builder add-on. You might have a plugin conflict. Try the following, disable all your other plugins except this plugin and Form Builder add-on. Then try to edit one of the fields you mentioned above.

ParticipantI have disabled all plugins except WP Membership and WP Form Builder. No change in ability to modify the individual fields within the “Address” element. Attached show what I see in Form Builder for the Address element.

ModeratorAre you login in as an administrator? If you are can you carry this test. Create a new registration form, it does not matter if it is for a Free or Paid membership level. Then try to edit any of the fields.
In regards to the field alignment, that can be achieved using CSS code. But first you need to find out why can’t you edit the fields.

ParticipantYes I am logged in as an Administrator. I created the “test” form below and added the address element. Opened it but no ability to change individual address subelements. I have all the plugins disabled except for the SM and SM Form Builder.
Where are you going in the backend to modify the Address subelements. Perhaps send me a screen shot of what you see.

ModeratorHi, when I add fields to my test forms I am able to make the changes as per your image above. Is that what you mean by subelements?

ParticipantGuys. You have got to be kidding? When you add the default address field it automatically adds the subelements below on the frontend. How in the hell do you modify those on the backend? This has been going on for days/week?

ModeratorOkay sorry about that. I think I misunderstood your question from the beginning. Please raise a premium support ticket. As this is more related to the way the Form Builder add-on behaves.
My apologies.
