ParticipantHello.
On following page, registration/login notification didn’t cover whole page.
http://danamoob2b.cafe24.com/category/
So, content is not protected at all.
I want to make protected function with last string of current url page like “category/” for over page.
Could you please let me know how I can do this for wp membership?
Thank you for your support.

ModeratorSorry but I really don’t know what you are asking. For example if you want to protect some content in a page or post and this plugin is not protecting the content, can you share that page here so that I can check.
Thank you

ModeratorI have checked the link you provided above. Now my question is what is that link suppose to show me? Are you saying that category should not display anything in that page for example “content”? This is the link you provided [http://danamoob2b.cafe24.com/category/]

ParticipantYep. Since this page is protected, page should not be displayed.
If there is no solution to fix this issue, I want to control with current url of page (/category/) with php code ( if we can do it in function.php in child theme. )March 9, 2016 at 7:01 am #5788mbrsolution
ModeratorDid you also protect the category as I mentioned above?

Since content is in PAGE is NOT POST, category protection doesn’t work at all.

Please give me advice to resolve this issue.

ModeratorHi, can you create a different page as a test. Add the same content that you are displaying in your category page. Protect that page. Report back?
Thank you

ParticipantHello. I tried it again but it didn’t work at all.
Since “Category Protection” is for “POST”, it doesn’t work for “PAGE”
The issue is protection notice is not cover whole page since my page includes portfolios on page.
So, I want to handle protection with current url value and need code to do it on function.php on child theme.
Please see following screenshot and provide me the code for it.
Thank you.

ModeratorHi, think you misunderstood me. What I would like for your to try is as follow.
1) Create a different page to carry out a test. Call this page test.
2) Copy over the same content from your category page into the test page.
3) Protect the new test page.
4) Report back. Now your new link should be [http://danamoob2b.cafe24.com/test/]. Test is the page “NOT a category”.
Let me know if you understand me.
Thank you
