ParticipantMy site has 7,000 members, so I when searching for a particular member the results often go over more than one pageful.
I notice that when I click on the next page, I get taken to page 2 of the full membership listing, rather than page 2 of that particular search result.
The only way to get to page 2 of the result is to put the search word once again into the search box, and then you successfully reach page 2.
Note I am using Relevanssi, so perhaps there is a conflict.
Cheers,

ModeratorHi, John what is Relevanssi? If you disable Relevanssi, is the problem fixed?

ParticipantRelevanssi is a Search plugin that replaces the default WordPress search function. And it works on the Admin side of things, too. I am able to progress normally to page 2 when searching outside of Simple Membership. Searches work as expected when searching All Pages, say.
With Relevanssi deactivated, I get the same problem. The same thing happens when searching other lists in Simple Membership, for example the Payments listing.
So it appears to be just in Simple Membership that the problem occurs.
There is the workaround I mentioned, but I just thought you should know.
Cheers,

ModeratorHi JohnF, I now understand what you mean. That should not happen, so I think you have some sort of conflict somewhere. Lets try a few things, deactivate all your other plugins except this one. Carry another search? If this works then you know you have a plugin conflict. If that does not help you try one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen or Fifteen. Then carry out another search?

ParticipantHi mbrsolution.
I deactivated all my other plugins, but get the same problem.
I run on the standard Twenty-Twelve WordPress theme.

ModeratorHi, how much memory do you have allocated to your website? Can you check the sever log files?
February 11, 2016 at 9:16 am #5226fletj
ParticipantI have 128M memory_limit. Bluehost do not recommend going higher than this

ModeratorHi have you checked the server log files? You might also like to use the following Debug plugin. Enable debug mode and carry out another test and see if debug mode reveals some information.
