ParticipantThis is REALLY strange – I see nothing in the documentation about this or any posts here about it, but it seems like an obvious question:

Is there a page that the new member goes to after purchase that gives them their username and password?
Does it come in email?
I tried purchasing at least 10 times with 3 different email addresses through 2 different paypal accounts.
It’s NOT in sandbox mode, and the PayPay transaction goes through. I see it in my account. Also – the member (me) is listed under “Members”.
If I’m logged in as admin, and purchase using that email address, I DO get the email that says I’ve upgraded, just nothing with a user / pass.

ParticipantYes, please answer this question…I am very frustrated. I have paid twice and have not been added to take the course on my site. Isn’t this suppose to email you automatically after you pay?

KeymasterThank you for sharing the debug log file data. Looks like it is failing to insert the record in the database. I will do some investigation on my end then get back to you.

KeymasterPlease upgrade to the new version 1.8.5 and you shouldn’t see this issue anymore.

ParticipantI have a same problem, and nothing to any notice after payment via paypal.
I just created payment buttom and join page in reference to the following page.

No, didn’t get any E-mail and any link like a “step 6” and “step 7”.

I have following queries:
1. Firstly, How the payment is confirmed?
I mean do I need to perform some task that system will know that successful payment has been done at paypal or plugin will automatically receives notification from paypal?2. On payment confirmation, How the account is created? and email generated to which email ID?
As we haven’t receive an email ID so far for Paid Membership on Join Us page?Kindly answer and suggest?

KeymasterPlease go to the settings menu of the plugin and then check the enable debug option. Do a test transaction after that. Share the URL of your membership payment page so I can inspect it afterwards.

I did the transaction after enabling Debug on Transaction page. Verify the log file (i.e. log.txt). it’s Empty, nothing there.
Now, what do u mean by Membership Payment Page?
1. Normally a user goes to Join Us page i.e. [http://www.webdevelopmenthelp.net/membership-join]
2. After clicking “Pay Now” button, user redirects to Paypal and make payment.
3. On successful payment user returns back to confirmation page i.e.
[http://www.webdevelopmenthelp.net/payment-successful]Please check now.

KeymasterThank you. It looks like your PayPal account doesn’t have the IPN feature enabled. Please log into your PayPal account and enable the IPN feature so the plugin can receive notification after a member pays for it.

ParticipantNow I’ve got the same issue. A member payed by Paypal, but did not receive the mal with the special link to register. Unfortunately, he does not have a user name, and I cannot fill it in on my own. I activated the IPN button, what else could I do now?

KeymasterGo to the Tools menu and you can re-generate that special link for that user. Then use that link to complete the registration.
