Hi
If I individually move a member from pending (the default state) to active then they get the activation email …
If I use the bulk “Set Status to Active” the emails don’t appear to be sent
Hi robertiles, please read the following documentation.
Thank you
Thanks, I had read that … like I say, it sends the email fine when I individually edit a member but does not seem to send it at all if I use the bulk change… I would like it to send the email to all members involved in the bulk change
I turned on debug logging and used the bulk actions to change someone to pending then change them back to active but the log file was empty
Hi can you carry out the following test. First try to change 2 and see if the e-mail is sent? If it is then try 5 and see if the e-mail is sent.
Can you also verify that the e-mail did not send and that it did not land in the spam box of the recipients?
Thank you
Hi
I can confirm that the emails didn’t go to spam and that nothing was dropped into the debug log.
I just tried it with 3 people marked … again, no email sent or in spam
Thanks
Robert
Hi Robert thank you for reporting back. The plugin developers will investigate further your issue.
Regards
Currently there is not option to bulk activate and then notify them at the same time. There will be a new feature in the next version of the plugin that will allow you to do the following bulk operation (this option will send a notification email after activating the account):
set status to activate and notify
Hi Robert, can you test the latest version. The feature you requested has been added.
Thank you
Excellent – thank you!
