    I’m unable to figure out how to create the Paypal button. When the documentation refers to “Merchant services,” here–
    “When you create your button on PayPal from the “Merchant Services” menu” –where is this menu? Am I not seeing it somehow in Simple Membership plugin, or does it refer to some Paypal plugin? Sorry to be so dense….

    You create the PayPal button from your PayPal account. Have you ever created a PayPal buy now or PayPal subscription button from your PayPal account?

    Hi endgrainguy,

    Yes, you actually cretae the code for each PayPal button from INSIDE of your PayPal account, not part of this plugin.

    Inside PayPal, go to “Merchant Services” and create a button for your product. Since the PayPla product is actually paid access to part of your web site, you wn’t be charging shipping, but may have to deal with taxes? When you create a button in PayPal, it will “show” you the code, which you cut & paste into your web site page directly.

    So, your web page will have both the PayPal code as well as the Membership plugin shortcode.
