Unable to change language!

    Here are the steps I followed;
    from …\public_html\wp-content\plugins\simple-membership\languages
    1) opened swpm.pot file
    2) set translation language to French (Canada)
    3) from menu Catalog -> fill missing translations from TM
    4) Saved file
    5) Went to wen site but all text strings remain in English.

    What am I missing?
