Tagged: confirm email
Hi,
I’m using form builder and I have free membership and 2 paid memberships which they can upgrade to after they register and see their accounts.
I would like to send email to users after they register for free membership with a link to confirm their email address.
After they confirm email, they can log in.
If they don’t confirm their email, they can’t login.
How can I do that?
Hi, in the Form Builder add-on there is a confirmation and notification feature you can set up under Settings.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I checked and there is a custom message and notification,
“…When a user submits their entry, you can send a customizable notification email…”
But it does not send users a link to confirm their email address.
I’m talking about state of user, when they register, they become pending until they confirm their account by clicking on generated link.
Let me know if that exists,
Thank you
Hi currently the free membership works like that. The only option you have for the free membership is to set up the level to pending and then approving it manually.
Well, may be there is another chapter to consider?
Say you have thousands of users, it would be tidies to update each member manually.
I think it should be easy to add the option of sending email to approve the account, that way WP site would be protected from unwanted registrations.
Thank you for your suggestion. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.
