Tagged: import importing custom data
Hi there,
I have about 600 users on my wordpress site with many custom fields. Would it be possible to import these, including custom fields into Simple Membership? I have bought the registration form builder plugin and will be using this to collect new users custom data but I need a way to bring in my current members info.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
I think the documentation – Importing Users section would answer this.

Hi,
I have seen the documentation, however it isn’t clear whether it will import custom user fields or just the standard fields like username, password etc. Do I need to buy the form builder addon? and if so and I create some custom fields with that, will I then be able to import users from wordpress with their info into those custom fields?
Any help would be great, thanks!
Hi the form builder add-on allows you to create custom fields. If having custom fields is important to you then your solution is to purchase the Form Builder Add-on.
However I am not sure if you can import the custom fields from a WordPress user into Simple Membership plugin and or into the custom fields created with the Form Builder Add-on.
Does anyone from the company know if this functionality is there or not? I will just buy another plugin if nobody knows because I’m not wasting my money just to check if it does.
