During some testing of my site, I ran into some trouble, whenever I try to registrate a user, the user doens’t receive an e-mail. Some things that may cause it:
– I’m currently testing on a localhost/apache-server
– The email-adress of the sender is one of gmail and not of the site itself
Hope you can help me, thanks anyways.
Hi you cannot submit from a local host like your computer to Gmail. There are other options you need to set up before it can send an e-mail. Google that information there is plenty of instructions online.

thanks,
but if I test this on my real website and use for example info@mywebsite.com as the sender, will it work normally?
Kind regards,
PJ
Hi, yes it will work with the e-mail example you posted above.
