ParticipantSO I have over 4500 “activation required” users who are sitting there over a month old (the plugin to delete apparently doesn’t work) and I don’t want to go through 200+ pages of deleting them all manually. Any instructions on going into the database and deleting one swoop or is there another solution?
Thanks for your help in advance

ModeratorHave you tried going to the “activation required” tab in the members menu and bulk deleting the unactivated profiles?

KeymasterIf you have accumulated 200 pages of entries to delete, it’s likely that your site is experiencing a spam issue.
Do you have captcha on your registration form?
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-and-google-recaptcha-integration/To delete all member records from the ‘swpm_members_tbl’ database table in one step, you can run a query with the following condition:
account_state = activation_requiredYou can use PHPMyAdmin or any other database management tool to browse the table and execute this query. Always ensure you take a backup before performing any delete operations.

Unfortunately this doesn’t delete the related WordPress users. It would be helpful to have a bulk operation to delete “Activation Required” or a command via wp-cli.

KeymasterWe will look into adding a new option in the “Bulk Operation” tab to bulk delete accounts with certain account status.

ParticipantA temporary solution is to add the following code as a mu-plugin which will set the items per page on the membership members page to 200 versus 50.
function custom_swpm_members_items_per_page( $perpage ) { return 200; // Change 200 to whatever number you prefer. } add_filter( 'swpm_members_menu_items_per_page', 'custom_swpm_members_items_per_page' );February 10, 2025 at 6:57 am #29661admin
KeymasterWe have released an update to the plugin that has an option to bulk delete all member accounts with a specific account status.
