    Using the registration form and profile form on our site [www.gcelfun.org] allows members to fill out the registration information, however once the members complete the form and properly get redirected to the thank you for registration page, they are unable to log in using their registration information and the members do not show up in the WP user listing nor the Simple Membership member listing.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this currently has our site completely down!

    Same problem
    I even created a button in Paypal using the advanced feature using the notify_url
    They don’t get notified and they don’t show up in the database after paying with PayPal
    Wordprezss 4.3 – Please advise.

    Hi do you have the latest version of the plugin and add-ons? Can you enabled debug mode and carry out a test. Register with as a test member and check the log file.

    Latest version: yes
    Log file: free members are ok
    Paypal: no recorded signups in the database (and Ihave 10 already) – users don’t get any links what so ever
    Advanced variables: notify_url=http://flixiflow.com/blog/?swpm_process_ipn=1 custom=subsc_ref=2

    @flixiator, have you set up PayPal IPN in your PayPal account?

    Thought the script took care of that. Obviously not then.
    I followed your instructions and created a PayPal button with the advanced code.
    Now I have to set up a PayPal IPN as well ?

    Just add your website, which has this plugin installed.

    kay – but I have more websites – in PayPal I can only use 1 IPN

    Hi, yes that is correct. You can only have one URL per IPN setup.

    You mean that I would have to have multiple Paypal accounts per IPN ?

    In any case, thank you very much for your help.
    It’s appreciated, but please add more info to your documenation cuz your plugin doesn’t really set things up out of the box 🙂
