WordPress Membership Plugin
Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › Account ID 0 – users get the ID 0
When a member registers with the form, they are given the ID 0. WordPress no longer recognizes them as a user.
The next members who register are overwritten or are also given the ID 0.
However, this has recently been happening in the system. Before that, everything still worked.

You are mixing up terminology. WordPress creates Users and SWPM creates Members. So, are you having problems creating WordPress Users or SWPM Members?
In either case, the ID numbers are generated by your MySQL database server, and are not under control of either WordPress or SWPM. Did you or your hosting provider recently make any changes to the hosting environment???
I cannot create members.
I can still create users as usual in the WordPress backend.
I wonder if my hoster has made any changes. I’ll have to ask.
But this error can really happen if the MySQL database changes? Or if other things change, such as PHP version or something?
The ID number is returned by MySQL when a new table row is created. “Zero” means there are no rows in the table (yet).
