    Are you saying that WP already is a blog system?
    Or that one can make WP operate as a blog?

    I’m looking for a blog (or forum) plugin that would:
    + Log club member users, their messages, and their upload texts, PDF files, and photos
    + Allow downloading all of a message thread
    + as well as backup all accumulated massages.

    I was hoping I wouldn’t need to build the entire system from scratch.
    Or is there a free plug-in?

    My primary language is US English.
    I have a doctorate in education.
    I’ve been programming HTML-based Web sites since 1995.
    On these Web sites I edit, design, program, and provide images and/or retouching, as well as having maintained commerce sites, and installed PayPal.

    Okay. So, you do know that WordPress by itself, does allow you to create blogging sites. Have you any experience using WordPress; to create sites?
