ParticipantI have an issue where I am unable to use WordPress as I am stuck with this error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in E:\Domains\b\bristoltaekwondo.co.uk-1082733686\user\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\simple-membership\classes\class.swpm-transfer.php on line 37
I was able at one point to disable all my other plugins which are up to date including WP but it made no difference. Now I cannot access anything. Has anyone seen this error before and is there a solution?

ModeratorHi, can you deactivate and reactivate the plugin? See if that helps you. Are you running a local install in your computer?

ParticipantI am not able to activate/deactivate or do anything as clicking on any of the menu’s on the left just gives me a blank page with the same error. I am not running a local version.
I am hosting my website on a windows server running php 5.2.

ModeratorHi, thank you for the information. The developers will be able to investigate further now that we know that you are running your website in a windows server.

KeymasterYou can deactivate the plguin using the following approach (just so you can get access to your admin side):
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/deactivate-wordpress-plugins-without-logging-into-wp-admin-video-tutorial-4375We will look at adding a guard in that code block to prevent this error.

ParticipantIs there a time-frame for this as I am currently unable to use the plugin? I have managed to deactivate the plugin via the database.

ModeratorHi, have you updated to the latest version 3.0.5?
August 19, 2015 at 7:53 am #2728davies664
ParticipantI have updated the plugin and WordPress to the latest versions but till getting errors when registering new users from the website or trying to change a password via WordPress:
Error from the webpage:
Fatal error: Call to a member function set() on a non-object in E:\Domains\b\bristoltaekwondo.co.uk-1082733686\user\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\simple-membership\classes\class.swpm-transfer.php on line 47August 20, 2015 at 7:48 am #2742admin
KeymasterWe have applied a fix for this in the new version.

ParticipantI downloaded the Latest update and now get this error when registering on the site:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class SwpmMessages could not be converted to string in E:\Domains\b\bristoltaekwondo.co.uk-1082733686\user\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\simple-membership\classes\class.swpm-transfer.php on line 46
The error seems to have changed from line 47 to line 46.

Participantwhat php version are you using? i haven’t seen this on our servers. If you want us to have a look into your server, let us know.

ParticipantIf you check the post of Aug 14th you will see I have already provided that information.
I am hosting my website on a windows server running php 5.2.
My website is hosted on a shared Fasthost server so I will not have access to it and making changes could have global effects on the server for all hosted sites.
If you try to register on my site you can see exactly what is happening. http://www.bristoltaekwondo.co.uk

KeymasterWe couldn’t reproduce this on our site unfortunately. So it likely a OLD PHP version related issue. We have to always code for the recent version of PHP. If you can’t get your hosting provider to use a more latest version of PHP then maybe you can try a different plugin.
