Hi,
Following your help with setting up paid subscriptions with PayPal New API,
when I visit my Substitution plans at PayPal, I see I now have 3 New API Billing plans.
One of these matches my Subscription Plan ID as entered into my Simple Membership subscription button.
Of the other 2, one was ‘inactive’, so I turned it off. Maybe a Sandbox ID?
The other already has a subscriber.
This may all be the result of my initial cag-handed failure to set things up correctly.
So my simple question – does Simple Membership plugin need two (or) more PayPal subscription plans for one subscription button?
Also, on my PayPal Activity page, every subscription transaction has two records. One is for the correct amount in pounds sterling (as set in the plugin) and the other is for the same customer, on the same date, Recurring payment for $0.00 USD
Does this indicate a problem, or is it correct?
Thank you again
Hi,

Yes that is probably what has happened in your case.

No, but that also depends if you make changes to the button payments.
Also, on my PayPal Activity page, every subscription transaction has two records. One is for the correct amount in pounds sterling (as set in the plugin) and the other is for the same customer, on the same date, Recurring payment for $0.00 USD
I am wondering if this is because of your issue above with the PayPal API.
Kind regards.
Thank you for your help.
I think it is working now, after deleting and recreating Paypal Live Webhooks
Could you explain why some subscribers on the Payments Transactions tab show status “subscription created” while others show status “completed”.
